Pediatric Hospice Services

We extend hospice care to pediatric patients from 0-21 years old, with a life-limiting illness, who are currently receiving palliative care services and are eligible for concurrent hospice support. This means insurance covers palliative treatments - radiation, chemotherapy, experimental treatments as well as hospice are at the same time as treatment for the life-limiting illness.

Hope for Children with Life-Limiting Illness

Hospice of Northwest Ohio provides specialized pediatric hospice care in any setting - home, hospital, care facility or at one of our hospice centers.

  • Expert pain and symptom management

  • Ongoing support and education with the child's school and community
  • Art, music and play activities
