Patient Emotional and Spiritual Support

Don’t let fear, anxiety, anger or guilt steal your opportunity for a meaningful end-of-life experience. The expert guidance from Hospice of Northwest Ohio’s counselors, social workers and chaplains will help you and your family come to terms with your illness and other concerns so you can achieve end-of-life goals together.

They will help you identify and address the issues that concern you most, encourage important conversations with family and friends, and help you find peace with your circumstances so you can make the most of every day.

Support is also offered for the families of our patients.

"Our family appreciated the extreme care my husband received. He was treated with kindness, care, concern, and close attention to the specific needs he had. Our daughter and son-in-law appreciated the care and concern given to me (patient's wife), as well as to our entire family. The staff's sympathy and concern for all of us was more than we hoped for in this incredibly difficult time in our lives."
