At this time of year, it is common to reflect on the past and to look forward to what is to come in the new year.
At Hospice of Northwest Ohio, we have so many things to be thankful for. First and foremost is the ongoing support we receive from the community. Our agency was founded by a small group of visionary volunteers in 1979. Without ongoing support, our work to provide expert care to those with serious illness would not be possible.
Highlights from 2023: The expertise and dedication of our amazing staff and volunteers. A successful Path Finders Camp for grieving children in the community – nearly double in size from 2022! Winning the Golden Anniversary Nonprofit Excellence Award from the Greater Toledo Community Foundation. Updating our Mission and Vision statements to better guide our future decision making. The acquisition of the Ebeid Hospice Center from ProMedica Health System – allowing us to offer quality inpatient hospice care to those living in the northern and western communities of our area.
What we are looking forward to in 2024: Improvements to our Perrysburg Center. The third annual Path Finders Camp! The Hospice of Northwest Ohio Golf Classic. New business partnerships to further the Mission of our agency. Caring for anyone in the community who seeks our help regardless of the complexity of their needs or ability to pay. Continued relationships with donors and the community.
Thank you for your continued support of Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Happy Holidays,
~ Rick
