Teen volunteers come in after school or evenings. Hours can be flexible.
Becoming a Hospice Teen Volunteer
More than 40 teens from area high schools volunteer at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Teens visit with patients and their families and help the staff with many tasks. They work after school or evenings and generally make a four-hour-per-month volunteer commitment. All teens must complete a comprehensive orientation before starting their volunteer assignment.
To discuss teen volunteer opportunities, call Marie Archer at 419-661-4001 or email email@example.com.
Dates/times for upcoming teen orientation:
Held at the Toledo Center
Monday, April 3 from 4-8:00 p.m.
Note: All teens must first submit an application along with a letter of reference and successfully complete an interview before being eligible for orientation.
