Reaching Out to Help Yourself and Others

Hospice of Northwest Ohio provides an array of support groups and workshops to help people of all ages cope with the loss of a loved one. While some people may be afraid to join a group at first, we recommend they give it a try. Group members usually feel very comfortable giving and receiving support in the group with others who share similar concerns.

All groups are provided free of charge and are available to anyone in the community, whether or not they have had previous involvement with Hospice of Northwest Ohio. All support group meetings are conducted by professional counselors, with trained volunteers and are held at either our Toledo or Perrysburg Hospice Centers or our Michigan Office. For more information, or to register, contact the Bereavement Team at 419-661-4001 or 734-568-6801.

Grief 101 is required before participation in any other groups. Please call the Bereavement Team to discuss a date and time that will work for you!
