About Us
Hospice of Northwest Ohio served its first patients in 1981 and is the Toledo area's largest provider of hospice care. A non-profit, community-based organization, we are the only area agency solely dedicated to caring for the terminally ill. In 2005, we served nearly 2,300 patients and families in their own homes, in nursing homes and at our freestanding Hospice Centers. We are JCAHO accredited and Medicare/Medicaid certified. No one is ever turned away due to inability to pay.

Our mission: Hospice of Northwest Ohio provides specialized medical, emotional and spiritual care to people of all ages--and their families--living with any end-stage illness in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
